Working from home

These days more of us are working from home, sitting for long hours behind a laptop or working at a desk. Working from home means that you're less likely to be moving around: you won't be running for that bus, walking across that carpark, moving around the office or taking the stairs to the third or fourth floor. Less moving around means that your body does not expend so much energy, and when you're working from home there is no-one to notice if you eat those crisps and biscuits or that chocolate.

Expending less energy and the temptation to indulge more frequently than usual both add up to make a less healthy body.

As group fitness is currently off the menu, one to one Personal Training could be the answer.

One to one Personal Training in a public outdoor space is permitted under the current guidelines.

Going out into the fresh air to exercise will not only benefit your body, it's also good for your mental heath and emotional wellbeing.

Personal Training give you a programme which is tailored to your individual needs, and the one on one time that you receive will ensure that you are exercising with correct form and technique at all times. This, in turn, will ensure that you achieve the most effective workout possible.

Your individual needs will be determined through a series of assessments, which will ascertain your flexibility, balance, stamina and strength, as well as determining your fitness goal and aspirations.

We will also look at your diet and daily activity, in order to see where adjustments or improvements can be made to make your goals more achievable.

Targets can then be set according to your individual needs and desires, and these will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

Reassessment of flexibility, stamina and strength can be carried out on a regular basis to see the improvements.

Time will be set aside to analyse the results of the assessments and to give feedback and recommendations.
