Fundraising and a course with Mind.

Because I beleve in the importance of Mental Health and wellbeing I have been supporting the mental health charity Mind for some time. Before lockdown I had been collecting sponsorship for Liverpool's 5k and Marathon which I had been due to take part in at the end of May. The Marathon has now been rescheduled to take place at the end of October. But given the current situation I am unsure if it will beable to go ahead. I also had planned several charity events, all of which I have had to cancel.
But regardless of this I will continue my Marathon training and when life returns to normal I will host some new charity fundraisers for Mind.
In the meantime while in lockdown I have been busy taking various online courses, one of which was with Mind - Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity.
This is a tough time for us all, exercise is not only good for the body but also the mind, l know I feel better after a long run or a training session.
